Hermosa Engine Cleaner

What You’ll Need

  • Hermosa Engine Cleaner and attach supplied spray trigger
  • Detail brush if required
  • Freshwater
  • Microfiber cloth
  • We recommend a good quality latex or similar waterproof glove.
The Process

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Allow the Engine to Cool

Wait for the car to cool down if it has been driven recently (wait at least 30 minutes if the wheels or hood are hot).

Once the vehicle is cool to the touch, put on your gloves and lets go!

Step 2

Apply the Engine Cleaner

Spray the Hermosa Engine Cleaner directly onto engine components. Allow the cleaner to penetrate and emulsify dirt and grime for 1-2 minutes. Use a brush or sponge to agitate stubborn areas if needed.

Step 3

Wipe the Cleaner Off

Wipe the engine cleaner off with a micro fibre towel or similar. Do not use a high-pressure hose or water blaster in the engine bay as this can cause water ingress into electrical connections. Repeat the process for heavily soiled areas if necessary.

Step 4

PRO TIP

If you prefer a high gloss finish rather than a matt finish, use the Hermosa VRP after cleaning the engine bay.
